2010 Round 4 Bordon. Normal service is resumed at Round 3. Pedalon duo Ade Lansley and Chris Minter back sharing the podium champagne at last. A bit quiet in the Elite and Expert races this round but strong Masters and Vets fields made for really close racing at the front. Now if only it would rain...

2010 Round 3 Crow Hill. Dry and dusty again! Close racing in all categories with Robin Seymour escaping from Ade Lansley only on the final lap of the Elite race.

2010 Round 2 Pippingford. A tough course made tougher by the relentless heat of the sun! Not that we're complaining about the weather.

2010 Round 1 Wasing - Elite Race. A surprise appearance by Liam Killeen made a superb elite race at Round 1. Ade Lansley got an early lead but was reeled back in as Liam showed he still has it. Lee Williams caught third place and Chris Minter got back to fourth from eighth on the first lap. Steve James made a very respectable fifth for a Junior rider. The course was a big hit with all riders and promises great racing for the BMBS National Race on 9th May 2010.

2010 Southern XC Series returns, bigger and better each year. 5 superb venues in a 5 round series with separate Southern Area Championship. PedalOn bike demos available at all rounds.

Now officially the best course of the series, Pippingford will be the venue for the National XC Championships in 2010. Crashes galore in the main races saw Ade Lansley stopped with a broken handlebar so Chris Minter stepped up to win the race on the day. Ade took the Elite series win. Guernsey Velo Club invaded the Expert race with 7 riders and James Roe winning the race but Duane Stander took the series win for consistency.

The Southern XC Champions are crowned at Chawton. Once again rain before the races meant difficult conditions for the early races but the afternoon races got a hint of how good Chawton Woods really can be!

Pedal On destroy the opposition on the longest and toughest course of the year. The Erlestoke hill had switchback climbs and twisty rooty descents and with overnight rain and early showers everyone needed all their skill to stay upright. Lap times were up but nobody died and it is supposed to be hard work!

Bordon was blessed with beautiful weather to open the 2009 Southern XC Series and 550 riders made for a great atmosphere. Blindingly fast as usual, the course made for some really close racing. Ade Lansley, Chris Minter and Suart Bowers rode the whole race in a bunch swapping leads until Stuart broke away just on the last lap to win from Chris Minter. A new star in Expert, Mateusz Wielgos, came from nowhere to win this race by 5 seconds frm Jon Pybus.
