Online entry for the 2016 series is now live!!
We have been able to make a few improvements over the off season and the most major of these comes in the form of our own RFID chip system to record your lap information and results. This will mean even more accurate timing and and live results throughout the day. We have managed to maintain the entry fees for the 2nd year running but to help us support this significant investment we are asking you to purchase a number board for the series, it'll cost you only £2.00 and will be paid at time of entry, either online or on the day. This fee will not be applicable to the U12 and U9 races, we will support the cost of these numbers. The number board you purchase will be your for all rounds you attend so please remember to bring it with you to each race, if you do forget another number can be allocated to you but unfortunately it will cost another £2.00.
If you enter all 7 rounds by clicking 'Yes Sign Me Up To All Rounds!' on the online entry before the entry for round one closes on the 17th March, you'll get entry into 7 rounds for the cost of 6!!
Fat Bikes.... You will see we have asked on online entry if you're going to be racing a Fat Bike with us in 2016, this is just for fun but your average lap time will be entered in to separate Fat Bike only results and series results will be collected with a prize for the winner
Under 9 and Under 12 Categories... You will notice a slight change in these categories. the U13 category has been removed, the U12 category now includes 12 year old children and the U9 category now includes 9 year old children. These changes are as a result of feedback that suggested 1 lap of the full course was too much for a lot of 12 year olds and proved to be lonely and somewhat demoralising experience, the changes also bring our series more in line with British Cycling's preferred category structure. Now the exciting new for these categories; entrants in both the up to and including 9 and up to and including 12 categories will have access to free coach lead training sessions that will start at about 10.15am at each round. Coaches from British Cycling have volunteered their time to support this and will carry out structured training sessions designed to increase children's enjoyment in Mountain Biking through improved skills.
Our results system is manufactured by a German company call Race Result who are also hosting our online entry and results. The link below is directly to their website, the process is self explanatory but should you have any queries please drop us a line to email@example.com. Please note that PayPal are processing the checkout for us and you can pay with credit or debit card even if you don't have a PayPal account, just click on the pay with card button.
